Paper Cut Movie Illustration.

SCOPE Concept, Illustration, Paper Cut.
CLIENT University of Applied Scienes (FH) Joanneum.

The paper cut illustration was created for the Austrian movie called "Die Wand", engl. "The Wall". The movie is about a sudden emergence of an invisible wall, which cuts off the main protagonist from the rest of the world.

The paper-cut technique was chosen because it's working with layers which refers to the wall-themed movie. In the poster you will find details like the animals (dog, cat, cow, crow) and the hunting lodge, since they play an essential role for the main protagonist and her character development within the movie. The four seasons, which shape the outer frame of the illustration, are equally influential for the main character during the movie.
